Open Position

Senior Researcher in Microfluidics

We are looking for a post-doc to join our team for work in projects with organs on chips. The project is aimed to develop PDMS free chips with integrated sensors focusing on lung on chip and gut on chip. Therefore, a large portion of this work will be done in 650+ m2 ISO9001-accredited cleanroom facilities allowing microfluidic device fabrication. These projects are realized in close collaboration with our partner – Latvian Biomedical Research and Study Centre The candidate to this position will work, as part of a multi-disciplinary team, on a challenging project in the field of microfluidics combined with optical and electronic sensors for lab on chip devices. Organs on chip will be used to test extracellular vesicle as drug delivery vehicles, microgravity and BSL3.
